Kingussie, which is pronounced as “King-you-sea” and originates from the Gaelic phrase “Ceann a’ Ghiùthsaich,” meaning the “head of the pine wood,” serves as the capital of Badenoch. This small town located at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park near to the renowned River Spey, and provides a splendid location for indulging in various sports activities such as cycling, skiing, golfing, fishing, water sports, and hiking.
