The Old Bridge Inn
The Old Bridge Inn, just outside the centre of Aviemore, offers a roaring log fire and great atmosphere, along with excellent food and a fine selection of cask ales, premium lagers and malt whiskies. It has always been a favourite haunt for those who enjoy the outdoors, while friendly staff and locals always make you welcome (and that includes your dog). We highly recommend a visit during your stay with us.

Cheese Neuk Kingussie
Just along the road from the house, our friend Lydie runs the boutique cheese shop “The Cheese Neuk”. Open Tues – Sat, 10 am until 4 pm, this fantastic cheesemonger offers an incredible selection of cheeses, including raclette and reblochon, craft crackers, chutneys and a small but excellently curated wine selection. Personalised wine and cheese pairings are available with a booking.
Alvie Forest Street food
Seasonal ingredients are foraged, grown, and reared on Alvie & Dalraddy Estates to create contemporary street food dishes alongside the classic favourites.
The Forest Food kitchen is located in the car park on the left as you enter Dalraddy Holiday Park and is well worth a visit during your stay.

Joe's Chip Shop
A staple with locals in the town, Joe’s Chippy, has been serving good quality, traditional fish and chips in Kingussie since 2014. Available for sit-in or takeaway, the “chippy on the corner” is open every day – excluding Mondays – from 4 pm until 9 pm.
Cafe Bistro Kingussie
Cafe Bistro provides good quality food with the benefit of being able to bring your own bottle. Open Tuesday to Thursday from 9am-5pm and Friday to Saturday from 1pm-5pm for lunch and 6pm-9pm for dinner.
