Skiing and Snowboarding
The Cairngorms National Park is home to some of the best ski resorts in Scotland, including the Cairngorm Mountain Resort and the Lecht Ski Centre. These resorts offer a range of slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, from beginner to expert. The Cairngorm Mountain Resort has more than 30 kilometers of pisted runs, 12 surface lifts, and the highest funicular railway in the UK, while the Lecht Ski Centre has 20 runs and 13 lifts. Both resorts also offer equipment rental and ski and snowboarding lessons. 

Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
If you prefer to explore the snowy landscapes on foot, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are great options. The Cairngorms National Park has cross-country skiing trails, including the Glenmore Forest Park and the Rothiemurchus Estate. You can rent equipment and take lessons at the Glenmore Forest Park.
